Itinerary
We will depart from your hotel at 7AM. We will visit you at that time to start the tour together. We will travel south of Cusco, approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
During that trip we will see many typical towns specialized in the preparation of the traditional food of Cusco: the famous Chicharrón, Cuy in the oven and Chuta bread, etc.
Our guide will give you the necessary instructions to have a good understanding of the security measures and thus enjoy a fun adventure with the confidence of coming out unscathed.
They will receive the necessary rafting equipment for this adventure:
If necessary, due to the weather, the guide will also provide a couple of extra pieces of equipment:
We will end the tour with a delicious special coffee from the area.
Our starting point will be the Chuquicahuana Bridge in the town of Cusipata, the rapids that we will pass step by step are from level 1 to 4, but initially we will do some practices in the river, during this journey we will also be able to observe the birds of this region: the current duck, the blackbird and it is very common to see the people of the area fishing.
At the end of our tour we will organize ourselves to have lunch together and depart back to Cusco.
Urubamba is a town in the Sacred Valley region of southeastern Peru. A busy transportation hub, it sits on the Urubamba River, surrounded by rugged mountains. The town is a jumping-off point for the Maras Salt Mines, hundreds of hillside salt pools dating back to Inca times. Nearby, Moray is an Inca archaeological site defined by concentric terraces.
