Itinerary

We start the tourist service by coordinating your arrival at the Hotel in Santa María, for the start of the tour.

• In a few minutes (approximately 10 minutes) we will arrive at the Santa María La Antigua Bridge, from where we will start the rafting, we will go to Chinche Maranura, our final point. But before starting, our guide will give you the instructions and safety recommendations and will give you the necessary equipment for this adventure: (1) a rafting Chaste, (2) a life jacket and (3) a special paddle for rafting. If necessary, due to the weather, the guide will also provide a couple of extra pieces of equipment: (1) Neoprene shoes, (2) Wetsuit Windbreaker. We will end the tour with a delicious special coffee from the area.
• Before sailing down the river we will do practice exercises. The service also includes a special talk about the sport of kayaking. In this rafting tour it is necessary to take all security measures to have an adventure free of unnecessary risks.
• We start the activity step by step, with rapids from level 1 to level 3. During the tour we will make stops along the way, to play games using the oars and practice jumping into the water
• Our tour of the river lasts approximately 2 hours and covers an area of 8 kilometers. Our mobility will be waiting at the end of the journey to return to the hotel.
• In the rainy months, the pick-up service from the hotel to the starting point takes longer (approximately 30 minutes), because for safety reasons we change the section of the river from where we start the route of our itinerary.
